Privacy Policy
This policy describes how QRio QR code generator and Reader uses information when creating and scanning QR codes. The app does not require an account or sign-up to work.

2. Data we may collect
- Content of the QR codes you create or scan (text, links, WiFi details or contacts): it is processed and stored only on your device.
- The camera image while you scan: it is analyzed on the spot and on the device; it is not recorded or sent to servers.
- Technical information about the device and app version.
- Diagnostic data (errors or unexpected crashes).
- The device advertising identifier, if you use the ad-supported version.
3. Purpose
- Generate and read QR codes, and keep your history within the app.
- Optimize performance and user experience.
- Show ads in the free version.
- Resolve support issues.
4. Camera permission
QRio QR code generator and Reader requests camera access solely to scan QR codes. You can revoke the permission at any time from your system settings; the app keeps working for creating codes.
5. Local history
The history of created and scanned codes is stored only on your device, offline and without our own servers. You can delete any entry from the app, and it is completely removed when you uninstall it.
6. Third-party services
- Google AdMob: the free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers according to its own policies.
- In-app purchases: the remove-ads purchase is processed through the App Store or Google Play; we do not access your payment details.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal data or share the content of your QR codes with third parties. Only you decide what to share using the app's copy or share options.
8. Security and retention
We apply reasonable measures to protect the information. Since the data is stored on your device, you control its retention: you can delete it from the app at any time.
